Stemformatics uses Ensembl gene ids as the main gene identifier in the system. When you search for a gene using a basic text search, it's possible that multiple gene ids are matched, in which case these are shown in the list of suggestions. If there are too many to choose from there, it may be easier to search at ensembl.org and copy and paste the Ensembl id into the search box.
